چکیده
Abstract Humic acid as a green-sorbent was synthesized from marine sediments. While kaolin modified to nano-zeolite NaX. Different tools such FT-IR, SEM, EDX and XRD were applied confirm the characteristics of generated green-sorbents. factors pH, contact time, sorbent dosage, initial metal ion concentration, temperature interfering ions carefully examined used optimize batch adsorption process for Cd 2+ Pb . A small dose 100 mg required attain maximum at pH about 7, shacking time 60 min concentration 30 ppm. Also, sorption capacity on achieved in neutral medium very short implying economic feasibility process. In case humic acid, removal operated acidic 40 min. Metal remediation results evaluated by some isotherm models different temperatures. The kinetic thermodynamic variables also computed. data fitted well with linear Langmuir pseudo-second-order model favourable regulated both external mass transfer intraparticle diffusion steps over whole range concentrations, shown results. percentage four real water samples green sorbents provides good evidence two promising eco-sorbent heavy ions.

Removal of Hg(II) and Cd(II) Ions from Aqueous Solution Using Chitosan: Kinetics and Equilibrium Studies
Background and purpose: The discharge of toxic heavy metal ions into the environment is a serious pollution problem. Heavy metal ions pose adverse toxic risks to human health at very low concentrations. The aim of this paper is the adsorption potential of chitosan (CS) in the removal of Hg(II) and Cd(II) ions from aqueous solution. Materials and Methods: This study was conducted in laboratory s...

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Polyvinyl alcohol/ glycerin- magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (PVAGLPs) have been synthesized successfully by hydrothermal method. The as-prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR). The adsorbed activities of the polyvinyl alcohol/ glycerin- magnetic iron oxide nano particles (PVAGLPs) were ca...

1. to determine whether difference in birth body mass influenced growth performance in pipistrellus kuhlii we studied a total of 12 captive-born neonates. bats were assigned to two body mass groups: light birth body mass (lbw: 0.89 ± 0.05, n=8) and heavy birth body mass (hbw: 1.35 ± 0.08, n=4). heavier body mass at birth was associated with rapid postnatal growth (body mass and forearm length) ...
